Kuwait City, August 3, 201 4 : KIPCO – the Kuwait Projects Company – announced that 25 young people aged between 16 and 24 have been selected to participate in Generation 4 of The Protégés – the mentorship program that provides young people with opportunities acquire life and leadership skills. The fourth generation of The Protégés program will start on the first week of August, and will continue for six-weeks.
Hundreds young people applied for the program and our 25 were selected through an exhaustive process. The participants were chosen based on rigorous selection that included a personality test and two rounds of interviews with a panel of mentors. The following 25 exceptional applicants have been accepted for this year’s program:

Program Manager, Mr Shamlan Al-Bahar, commented on the process:
“The selection process was a very long one this year. We received hundreds of outstanding applications and met each and every candidate, which made it one of the hardest decisions to make”. He added “We are very pleased with the outcome, we look forward to get to know our 25 protégés and are very excited to start the summer of the fourth generation of our program.”
Ms Abeer Al-Omar, Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility at KIPCO, said:
“We have been very impressed by the Protégés interview process and the methods used to select the 25 finalists candidate from hundreds of who applied this year.
