The Protégés is an annual mentorship programme that provides young people with opportunities to learn life and leadership skills. Founded in 2010, The Protégés is designed to encourage and influence the youth of Kuwait, through a combination of travel, lectures, group activities, challenges, games and fun.

Guided by a team of mentors, The Protégés are encouraged to discover their passions and given the tools to help them excel in their future careers and make a positive contribution to society.

As part of the KIPCO’s 2013 sponsorship activity, KIPCO Group companies – including KIPCO, Burgan Bank, KAMCO, United Real Estate, Qurain Petrochemical Industries, Gulf Insurance Group, United Networks, Kuwait Hotels Company, OSN and American University of Kuwait – are supporting the Protégés programme. For example, the American University of Kuwait campus is hosting the Kuwait-based training courses, while OSN is providing broadcast expertise and advertising air-time.

KIPCO Group’s sponsorship of Protégés is part of the company’s long-standing commitment to help the young people of Kuwait. KIPCO believes the program is an excellent way of preparing the country’s next generation of leaders.
